Welcome to the homepage of Forrest Sheng Bao, a EE and CS geek. I am now a PhD student on Computer Science at Texas Tech University, United States. Many of my research are the application of information technology on biology and medicine. I had the idea of being a scientist when I was a high school student. I choose to be a scientist providing theoretical foundation for EE and CS as my career.

My future research will be in the fields of EECS, including their relevant interdisciplinary ones, such as bioinformatics. I got puzzled why I am interested in many fields on EECS. But I am sure one thing, that I will work on the fields with lots of applications of mathematics, such as networks, bioinformatics, signal processing, pattern recognition and AI, computational and simulation methods in EE.
